S.H.O.T.H. 2

For Youth Transitioning from Foster Care & Emancipated Young Adults (Ages 16–24

S.H.O.T.H. 2 supports young people who are stepping into independence without the safety net many others rely on.

This includes youth aging out of foster care, as well as emancipated young adults who are navigating life on their own at an early age.

For these individuals, the transition into adulthood can be overwhelming.

Without stable housing, financial guidance, or consistent support, many face immediate risks of housing instability, unemployment, and long-term hardship.

S.H.O.T.H. 2 provides a different path.

Through affordable housing and structured support, participants are given a stable foundation as they enter adulthood — not just a place to stay, but a place to begin building their future.

The program focuses on:

life skills development

financial literacy and budgeting

employment readiness and stability

credit building and long-term planning

Participants move through a structured, graduated model that increases independence over time, allowing them to build confidence, capability, and long-term sustainability.

Because these young adults are not lacking potential.

They are simply entering adulthood without the support system many take for granted.

And what they need is what every person deserves:

a stable place to start.
