S.H.O.T.H. 1 serves single-parent households who are working hard but still struggling to reach true stability.
These are families doing everything right — maintaining employment, caring for their children, and striving to move forward — yet facing the reality that wages alone are not enough to meet the rising cost of housing and everyday living.
This program exists to bridge that gap.
Through a structured, supportive model, S.H.O.T.H. 1 makes housing affordable during a critical period of rebuilding. Participants enter at a reduced, manageable rent and gradually increase their financial responsibility over time as their income stabilizes and grows.
This approach creates what many families have never been given:
room to breathe.
With that stability, participants are able to:
strengthen employment and increase income
reduce debt and build savings
establish consistent routines for their children
regain confidence and long-term independence
S.H.O.T.H. 1 is not long-term dependency.
